The Calexico High School Mighty Bulldog Band and Drill team competed at the 21st annual Southwest Regional Field Tournament was held this weekend, November 19th, 2011 at Ramona High School in Riverside, CA.

Carne asada sale this Friday!

The CHS band parents will be selling carne asada tacos at this Friday’s home football game. The CHS varsity football team will be taking on Montgomery HS, the band boosters will be taking on the masses at the grill, and the band will be taking the field!

Band students: band shirts will be sold for $10 during zero period on Monday 8/29 from 7:00 to 8:00 am in the band room. If you haven’t bought your shirt yet, this is the last time to get one before Friday’s game.

Parent volunteers needed!

This Saturday, August 27th, we will be fitting our band members with marching band uniforms. We would like parents to volunteer as we will need help with filling out forms; proper measurements, distribution of coats, pants & hats; keeping the kids in line; and organization of racks and boxes.

Students, come during your scheduled time!

Seniors 8:00-9:45
Juniors 10:00-11:45
Sophomores 12:00-1:45
Freshmen 2:00-3:45

Carne asada pre-sale tickets!

First fundraiser of the year – all band students will sell pre-sale tickets for the carne asada at the first home football game on Sept. 2nd. Tickets will be distributed to all band students on Wednesday, 8/24.
